Forum UNESCO – University and Heritage is a worldwide network of universities created in 1995 by the Culture Sector of UNESCO. Its Secretariat is managed by the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) – Spain. The network is aimed at sharing experiences and contributing to the advancement of knowledge in the field of heritage disciplines.

This network aims to share experiences and to contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field of heritageIt also aims to link together universities, professors, researchers and students from over 300 universities in that area. It comprises a number of joint activities such as team research projects, regional or national workshops, international seminars, students associations and youth fieldwork, publications, etc.

The University of Buenos Aires (UBA) will host the next international Seminar in Buenos Aires, October 11th. To 15th., 2004.
